Lego is never not cool. I think it’s one of those things that transcends age and petty things like coolness (although it’s still cool as fuck... somehow) - if you don’t like Lego, you probably don’t have a soul.

Oh, and when I said “you”, I just meant people in general.
Also, I really wish I had those blue lightning pieces when I was growing up. I’d always use my Legos in epic battles against my action figures since they were many times larger than Lego people (like the Sentinel in your pic). I will love my grandparents forever for getting me this set when I was young:
My parents got rid of it long ago, but I spent countless hours playing with this. The pang of nostalgia is hitting really hard right now.

I didn’t have that one, but I had some of the other sets in that series. I was bummed when the chrome started to wear off the harpoons...

Heh nice. I also had this and those shark guys and staged elaborate undersea battle between the two for those shiny crystal things.
